CSS 2023 Registration

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) Islamabad conducts the CSS exam CSS 2023 Registration and its screening examination to select applicants for positions (BS-17) in the twelve Occupational Groups/Services of the Federal Government.

Important Information for CSS 2023

TEST CENTERS: 

Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, DG Khan, DI Khan, Faisalabad, Gilgit, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Larkana, Multan, Muzaffarabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Turbat, and Sukkur are among the 20 cities that are being visited simultaneously. The availability of a sufficient number of candidates who want to appear in the exam from one of the aforementioned cities will determine whether the exam will be held there.

ELIGIBILITY:

Males and females, as well as unique individuals, who are between the ages of 21 and 30 and have at least a 2nd division bachelor’s degree, are all eligible. For the categories listed in Rule 6 of the CSS Competitive Examination Rules-2019 and later, the upper age limit may be relaxed by two years with the fulfillment of the necessary documentation. The deadline for assessing a candidate’s eligibility in terms of age, education, place of residence, etc. is December 31, 2022.

PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION:

Between August 8 and August 22, 2022, every applicant submitted an online application for the preliminary MCQ test.

EXAMINATION FEE

It costs Rs. 250 for the CSS 2023 MPT and Rs. 2200 for the written tests. Students must deposit their fees at the nearest Govt. Treasury, State Bank of Pakistan, or National Bank of Pakistan with the appropriate challan form, under the account heading “C02101-Organs of State Exam fee (FPSC Receipt).

Important Note for Candidates for CSS 2023

  • Visit the FPSC website to download computer-generated Admission Certificates. No notification shall be provided by mail or other means in this regard.
  • For the CSS 2023 MPT test online registration, no paper copies need to be submitted. However, candidates who will sit in the written exams must provide a paper copy of their online application together with their supporting documentation.
  • Please be aware that once an exam location has been chosen, it cannot be modified. After then, no request in this regard will be granted.
  • Enter your CNIC number and birthdate exactly in the online form. Incorrect entry could result in rejection.
  • The deadline for determining a candidate’s eligibility in terms of age, education, place of residence, etc. is December 31 of the current year.

CSS 2023 — Required Documents

After passing the screening test, students must submit the following documents in order to participate in the CSS 2023 Written Examinations (or the MPT). Hard copies and papers must be received by FPSC no later than November 24, 2022, otherwise, your application will be rejected. By the middle of January 2023, admission certificates for the written tests would be posted on the FPSC website. No more notifications will be issued to candidates through the mail.

  1. Original Treasury Receipt and duly signed hardcopy of online application
  2. copy of the self-Domicile Certificate, degrees, and Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
  3. Authenticated copies of the Intermediate Certificate and the Matriculation Certificate both include the student’s date of birth. It is not allowed to use a provisional certificate, result card, or marks sheet.
  1. Your most recent four passport-size photos, with your name and father’s name verified on the reverse.
  1. Disability certification from the appropriate agency (if applicable).
  1. Applicants for Azad Kashmir must submit the Kashmir affairs division’s certificate. -Muslim status certificate (if applicable).
  • Employees of the government must produce a departmental permission certificate.
  • If the applicant was a former member of the Pakistani military, there would be no objections.
  • For applicants from Provincial/ Federal Tribal Areas and Gilgit-Baltistan, an attested certificate is required.

Additional certifications, if needed:

  • Certificate for the Buddhist Community and Scheduled Castes (Annex-A)
  • For applicants from tribal areas, a certificate (Annex-B)
  • For candidates who are from the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Territory, a certificate (Annex-C)
  • Certificate for Minority Status Candidates (Annex-D)
  • Certificate of Departmental Permission (Annex-E)
