The B.Tech program at IIT Bombay is now accepting applications. The JEE Advanced 2023 results are now available; candidates can see their scores at jee adv.ac.in, the official website. On the official website, Jose. nic.in, test takers can register online and submit their selections for JoSAA Counseling 2023 through September 21. On September 23, the first round of seat distribution will take place. Additionally, registration for GATE 2024 has begun; the deadline to register is September 30. Between February 4 and February 12, 2024, the exam will be given. Additionally, IIT JAM 2024 application forms are currently available. The application form must be submitted by October 11th.

The B.Tech. in CSE program at IIT-B is one of the most competitive programs, hence competition is fierce. Only applicants who score in the top 300 of their class can be considered for admission to the CSE program.
IIT Bombay B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for IIT Bombay BTech & Integrated B.Tech program must have:
- Completed 10+2 with a JEE score within the cut-off ranges of the institute.
- The applicant should be a minimum of 17 years.
IIT Bombay B.Tech Selection Criteria
A merit list will be created category-by-category, detailing students’ All India Ranks (AIRs) after taking into account the results of the 12th-grade test, JEE Main, and JEE Advanced/AAT scores.
Online registration for JoSaa counseling is required for candidates at the official JoSSA website. Choice locking and filling out are required and must be done by the candidate alone. It is necessary to fill in the branch options in decreasing order of preference.
IIT B.Tech admissions are determined by JEE Advanced exam results. Candidates may sit for the recognized exam if they achieve the required minimum score on the JEE Main exam. The Unreserved category (General category) has a minimum qualifying mark of 87.992241 and a maximum qualifying mark of 100. A candidate for JEE Advanced 2023 must have earned the minimal cutoff score and have a ranking under 2.5 lakh. The table below lists the minimum scores for each category:

IIT Bombay MTech Admission 2023
The GATE 2023 exam score is used to determine admission to the IIT Bombay M.Tech. and Integrated M.Tech. (MTech + PhD). Candidates having a minimum of 60% in their B.E. or B. Tech. are eligible to apply for the program.
IIT Bombay M.Tech Eligibility Criteria
completed a degree in a field regarded as being equal to B.E. or B. Tech, such as B.Sc. (engineering), M.Sc., M.C.A., MBBS, M.Pharm, B.Pharm, or BDS.
Associate Membership Exams are required to obtain this.
The following grades, CGPAs, or CPIs are needed for the different categories:
General category: At least 60% overall, a First Class, a minimum CGPA/CPI of 6.0 on a scale of 0–10, or an equivalent 6.0 on other requirements when the scales are other than 0–10.
SC/ST/PWD category: Minimum of 5.6 on other requirements when the scales are other than 0-10. Minimum of 55% overall marks or minimum CGPA/CP of 5.5 on a scale of 0-10.
IIT Bombay M.Tech Selection Criteria
- The candidate’s GATE performance will be taken into consideration when granting admission.
- Candidates with an IIT-affiliated B.Tech. degree and a CGPA/ CPI score of 8.00 (on a scale of 10.0) or higher are free from the requirement of GATE qualification.
- Through a written exam and/or an interview, they may be admitted to the M.Tech program for TA and RA roles.
- Examining candidates will be based on a 70% weighted average of GATE scores and a 30% weighted average of interviews.
- The central counseling board of CCMT will establish the cutoff for each expertise.

How to apply for the IIT Bombay M.Tech Program?
Utilize the online application form to sign up for the exam.
Enter the login information to generate a special ID and password.
Enter your personal information (name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parents’ names, parents’ mobile numbers, etc.) and log in using your special ID and password.
Documents such as an eligibility certificate, a category certificate (SC/ST/PwD), and/or a certificate for dyslexia, as appropriate, should also be uploaded together with a photo and signature.

GATE 2023 Qualifying Cutoff
The minimal score needed to register for the COAP 2023 counseling is the GATE 2023 qualifying cutoff. The minimum cutoff needed to participate in the admissions process/counseling differs from the institute’s cutoff for admission.
