For admission to the Government Universities of Punjab’s BSc Engineering and BS Technology programmes, UET Lahore administers combined entrance exams.
The UET Combined Entry Test will be administered from July 18–22, 2023, at the designated times in the designated Virtual University Centers for 2023 admissions.

The deadline for UET Lahore ECAT registration is June 30, 2023. Insha Allah, on FRIDAY and SATURDAY, July 15 and 16, 2023, at the designated hour, an orientation session lasting 15 minutes will be held in the designated Centers to familiarise applicants with taking computer-based examinations.

Criteria for Eligibility for UET Lahore

Participation in the Entry Test is not subject to any restrictions. The ability to apply for admission to Punjabi engineering and engineering technology colleges does not, however, come with taking the Entry Test.

How to Get UET Entry test Token Number

Via May 16 through June 30, 2023, designated HBL branches will sell Entry Test Tokens in the form of scratch cards for Rs 1300. These token numbers can be obtained from these.

By paying an online challan for Rs. 1300 through HBL Konnect or HBL online banking, it is also possible to obtain the token number online. On admission.uet.edu.pk, you can find step-by-step instructions for logging into the UET admission site to obtain a payment challan.

UET Lahore ECAT Schedule 2023

For 2022 admissions, UET Combined Entry Test will be held from July 18-22, 2023 in the assigned Centes the allotted time.

UET Lahore ECAT Registration shall start from May 16, 2023. The last date for the online registration of the entry test is June 30, 2023.

UET Lahore Entry test Pattern

The Test would be of Inthetermediate level. It will be offered in the following combinations:

  • Physics, Mathematics, English & Chemistry;
  • Physics, Mathematics, English & Computer Science;
  • Physics, Mathematics, English & Statistics and
  • Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology.

Intermediate qualified candidates are advised to choose a combination according to their Intermediate subjects’ combination.

DAE qualified candidates have the option to choose either: (1) Physics, Mathematics, English & Chemistry; Or (2) Physics, Mathematics, English & Computer Science


Correct Answer: 4 Marks

Wrong Answer: -1 Mark

Not Attempted: 0 Mark

Merit Formula  

  • FSc Marks: 70% Weightage
  • Entry Test: 30 % Weightage
